Sri Annamacharya Govt Music and Dance college was established in the year 1996 in Oldcity . to spread art forms in Oldcity area for the art loving people by the department of culture. It is always overwhelming when students join in the college to learn divine Indian art forms. Since its inception, the college has seen many great vidwans working as its principals and lecturers teaching the students with great efforts and dedication towards their work. This institution is a great platform for all those people who love to learn the arts and are passionate towards it. The college organises monthly programs and annual functions to showcase the talents of the students learning in the college. These programs are conducted under the guidance of Director of department of language and culture, Telangana.
As many years have passed by now it is also evident that it also gives a stage to the students to show their talent in this field. The lowest fee taken by the government helps and makes sure that each and everybody gets a chance to pursue their passion. Many students turned to be good teachers and vidwans by the encouragement of the staff . The institution provides students the required attention while learning and also nurtures the mild talent into a spot light in a student. Learning arts is a kind of penance to cross the great ocean of ignorance and to reach the shore of knowledge. I wish each and every student for their success .
