S.V Ramanmurthy has done Diploma in Violin and Vocal from Andhra University and also Science Graduate. He is having B High Grade in Violin and Vocal from All India Radio and doordarshan. Presently he is working as Principal of Annamacharya Govt. Music and Dance College, Hyderabad. He has been giving Violin Accompaniment to all leading Vocal Vidwans in A.P. and Outside. And also giving Violin Solo Programmes since 1985. He is asthana vidwan of kanchi kamakoti peetham, kanchi.
Served as Principal for the college from 31-10-2011 to 31-08-2024
Retired Voluntarily from service with effect from 31-08-2024 after serving 32 years 8 months in the department.
